Essay On Global Warming in English
The average temperature of the globe is rising as a result of global warming. Increased levels of greenhouse gases are to blame for the rise in global temperatures. Carbon dioxide, methane, and ozone are the three greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases absorb the sun’s incoming radiation and keep it from escaping back into the atmosphere. Simply put, global warming is a sort of climatic change that results in an increase in the earth’s average temperature. Natural events and human activity contribute to global warming by raising the earth’s temperature.

The greenhouse effect occurs when greenhouse gases become trapped in excess amounts and are unable to escape, resulting in catastrophic consequences. The melting of the polar ice caps causes sea levels to rise. Since the dawn of time, the climate has been constantly changing. Global warming is also a dynamic process, with the earth’s average temperature steadily rising. The sun’s rotation alters the intensity of sunlight and brings it closer to the earth. This results in more heat on the earth’s surface, which cannot escape due to the greenhouse effect, resulting in global warming.
Greenhouse gases, which absorb and release radiant energy in the thermal infrared range, are the primary cause of global warming. The greenhouse effect is caused by these gases. Water vapor, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and ozone are the principal greenhouse gases in the Earth’s atmosphere. These gases trap the sun’s rays, preventing them from escaping the earth’s surface and generating global warming. Another natural cause of global warming is volcanic eruptions. Volcanic eruptions spew carbon dioxide (a greenhouse gas) and ash into the atmosphere. This contributes to the planet’s rising temperature.
Global warming is also caused by human activities that are carried out without regard for the environment. The use of fossil fuels, mining, cattle grazing, open burning, and deforestation are all major human activities that contribute to global warming. During industrial activity, fossil fuels are employed to power machines. Carbon dioxide (a greenhouse gas) is emitted into the atmosphere as a result of industrial activity. Aside from that, many modes of transportation that use fossil fuels emit carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, contributing to global warming.
Deforestation is another issue created by human actions to meet their needs and avarice, and it contributes to global warming. Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the air and release oxygen. Humans contribute to global warming by increasing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere by cutting down forests. As a result, it is critical to halt deforestation and grow trees. If global warming continues to worsen, there will be a slew of negative consequences. Melting polar ice caps, rising sea levels that invite more tsunamis and natural disasters, and the spread of new illnesses that can threaten human life as well as other living things are all possible consequences of global warming.
Because the implications of global warming might be life-threatening, it is critical to unify and collaborate in order to reduce global warming. The first thing we can do to slow global warming is to lower the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. These can be accomplished through promoting and conserving the environment, planting trees, encouraging the use of electric vehicles, utilizing renewable energy sources, and other environmentally friendly activities. We should phase out or reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and promote the use of renewable energy sources. We must put an end to deforestation and other practices that pollute the environment. We must prohibit the open burning of any rubbish, whether it is municipal or industrial. Instead of burning them in the open, we should encourage their recycling. We may minimize the rising levels of greenhouse gases and hence ameliorate global warming by acting in this manner.
